About The East Side Guy

Hi, I'm John Slattery, and the Upper East Side is my neighborhood.

By day, I'm a real estate salesperson with Corcoran, helping buyers and sellers with co-ops, condos, and townhouses. I know the board packages, the doorman buildings, the hidden-gem walk-ups, and which blocks have the best morning light.

By every other hour of the day, I'm a dog person. Since 2013, I've run MrBoris Pup Concierge, so I've walked just about every sidewalk between Fifth Avenue and the East River, usually at the end of a leash. That's given me a ground-level view of the neighborhood that no listing sheet can match: which parks are best, which shops keep a water bowl by the door, and which buildings really mean it when they say "pet-friendly."
